📕 Book Summary
This week's book is “The Modern Stoic” by Shubham K. Singh
A Powerful book with the Wisdom of some of the most wise people of the past.
Stoicism has always fascinated me. At its core, Stoicism teaches individuals to cultivate inner resilience and find peace of mind by embracing a mindset of acceptance, virtue, and mindfulness.
The Laws of Stoics are still relevant in today's world and are applicable in various fields of life.
Divided into 4 Parts with 25 Laws in each part, The Modern Stoic is a collection of wisdom from the Stoics in the form of laws. The Book contains 100 powerful and actionable Laws from famous Greek philosophers like Zeno of Citium, Epictetus, Seneca, and Marcus Aurelius on Happiness, Mindfulness, Psychology, Philosophy, Personal growth, and much more.
This book will serve as a guide and teach you some outstanding life lessons that can change your life. It's easy to read with actionable insights and is filled with wisdom to inspire you in life.
One of the best part that I loved is the short explanation of each law, which helps in understanding the point and gaining perspective. The Laws are short and easy to understand. Plus the lessons in the book are effective and practical.
Overall the book is a fantastic read and I'll recommend it to you to must read this book.
