Good Books Gone Bad
Here are some fantastic insights regarding Happiness, Philosophy, and personal growth
Happiness
Live in the now: Dwelling on the past usually results in regret, which cannot change. Worrying about the future only adds to your anxiety about something you can’t control. We can only live in the present moments so try to concentrate to enjoy the time that is present.
Journal to know yourself better: Putting things down on paper helps you to understand yourself better. Write the things that bother you, what makes you happy, etc. If you want to seek happiness, know yourself better.
Add mindfulness practices to your daily life: Try to add mindfulness to your life. Practices like Walking and breathing exercises can help your body to relax and calm your mind.
Philosophy
Accept what you can’t change: Don’t stress about the things that you can’t control. Obsessing over unchangeable and inherited circumstances causes mental anguish. accept the things that you can’t change.
Choose your friends carefully: One should be careful when one chooses friends. Make sure to make friends and associate with people who push you to become better.
Master your mind: Your mind is the most important and most powerful possession in your life. Don’t think too highly of material objects and work hard to master your mind.
Personal Growth
Schedule your priorities in advance: Set aside half an hour, perhaps on a Friday or Sunday, and look at your week ahead. Block out specific chunks of time to put toward your greatest priorities and don’t reschedule them.
Learn to listen: Resist the urge to automatically give advice. People feel most value simply by being listened to. Practice empathy and give other people your full attention.
Adopt a growth mindset: Develop a growth mindset and strength that continues to push you to seek new things, experiences, and opportunities. Learn new things to become a better person.
Actionable Advice
Here are 3 Actions you can start taking from these insights:
Start Journaling: Start writing about your life. Journal your life and your thoughts. Daily sit down with a pen and a notebook and start writing about your day. Write about what you feel, what you achieved, and what you learned. It just takes 5 minutes to journal but It will make an everlasting impact on our thoughts and improve your overall life.
Master your mind: Your mind is the most powerful possession. Do NOT overvalue material objects. Focus on mastering your mind. Start valuing good relationships and spend time with good people. You are the product of the books you read and the people you stay with.
Do what you love: Enjoy doing things that you like to do. Taking time to do these things will help you stay happy and positive. Spend time doing your favorite activities.

⚡️ Reading Tip
Want to finish a book in 7 days?
If you want to finish reading a book in one week, then count the total number of pages of the book and divide it by 7.
for example: if a book is 250 Pages. then 250/7~35 pages
So in order to finish a book in a week, you need to read 35 pages per day.
👨🏻🏫 Book I’m reading this week

🎉 New Addition

🎉 New Concept To learn
Welcome to my favourite section in our newsletter where I share a new concept every week to learn something new and improve our lives.
This Week’s concept is the Framing Effect
The Framing Effect is when our decisions are influenced by the way information is presented. Equivalent information can be more or less attractive depending on what features are highlighted.
In the above example, we can clearly see that both yogurts have the same amount of fat in them. but still, we thought of buying the second one because of the framing that is used in its marketing.
Big Companies use these types of psychological techniques and gimmicks to market their products and skyrocket their sales.
For example:
For example, a hand sanitizer can be framed as 99% effective or 1% not effective. Both carry the same information but people respond more favorably to a 99% effective sanitizer.
Students can use this effect for Positive Goal Setting:
Frame your academic goals in a positive light. Instead of thinking, "I have to study," reframe it as "I get to learn something new today." This positive framing can make studying feel more rewarding and enjoyable.
