📕 Book Summary

This week's book is “The Seeker Of Nothing” by Kabir Munjal

A FICTION BOOK WITH BEAUTIFUL LIFE LESSONS.

This is the story of a warrior named Andahar who is assigned a task by his brother to deliver a mysterious box to the king of Templetron.

During the journey, Andahar faces many challenges and opponents and go through the journey.

The 200-page book is absolutely amazing and well-written. The story keeps you hooked and keeps you turning pages.

He would embark on a journey to the unknown, a journey of self-discovery and healing. I don't wanna give you all the spoilers.

If you are one who loves to read Fiction books, then this one can be worth reading. I would highly recommend you check out this book

Check out some amazing insights from the book.

Here are 7 valuable lessons from the book

  1. Connect the little dots of your life: No Journey is meaningless. If you had not experienced each phase of your life, you would not be able to connect all the little dots and find the beauty that was waiting to be discovered.

  2. It’s the darkness: Often, it is the darkness in your life that sets you on your true path, It is the darkness, that lights your way.

  3. Wisdom is like food: Trust that the universe will always give you what you need. And my child, wisdom is quite like food. No matter how exceptional it may be, if too much is consumed too fast, it will be rejected entirely.

  4. Treat your inner wounds too: External wounds left unattended could rob you of your life. Why then leave the inner ones, without offering them treatment? Don’t you see that they will rob you of your joy?

  5. Everyone is on a journey: Everyone is on one such journey of evolution, each with their own challenges, and their own lessons to learn.

  6. Your knowledge depends on your experience: Remember that your knowledge of reality is limited to what you know from your experience, from what you have seen in your present life, and naturally so.

  7. Reality: Pain is an inevitable part of life, At some point on the journey, it knocks at everyone’s door. Not a single man across the world has experienced a life free of pain or loss.

Actionable Advice:

Here are 3 Actions you can start taking from these insights:

  1. The Value of Perseverance: Ahar's journey exemplifies the power of perseverance. Despite facing challenges and opponents, he remained committed to his goals, emphasizing the importance of resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

  2. The Importance of Family Bonds: Andahar's mission with his brother to deliver the mysterious box to the king highlights the significance of family bonds. Family can play a crucial role in our lives, providing support, guidance, and a sense of purpose. This lesson encourages us to appreciate and nurture our relationships with family members, as they can be a source of strength and motivation.

  3. The Unpredictability of Life's Path: Andahar's journey into the unknown reflects the unpredictable nature of life. Just as he faces unforeseen challenges and opponents, our own paths in life can be full of surprises. This lesson encourages us to be adaptable and open to the twists and turns that life may present. It reminds us that even when we have a specific goal in mind, the journey itself can be just as valuable, filled with unexpected experiences and lessons.

🎉 New Concept To learn

Welcome to my favourite section in our newsletter where I share a new concept every week to learn something new and improve our lives.

This Week’s concept is the SMART GOALS

SMART Goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound): Setting clear, well-defined goals following the SMART criteria can increase productivity by giving you a sense of direction and purpose.

You can use this Law to achieve your goals

You can effectively use the SMART goals rule (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) to set and achieve your objectives. Here's how you can apply this rule with a suitable example:

Example: Your goal is to improve your physique and become bodybuilder

  1. Specific: You should make your goal specific by defining what you want to achieve. Instead of a vague goal like "I want to get good health," you could specify, "I want to improve my physique before my next birthday."

  2. Measurable: It's important to have a way to measure progress. In this case, you can measure your progress using your exercise trackers (GPA) and your individual performance in the gym.

  3. Achievable: The goal should be realistic and attainable. You should assess whether you have the resources, time, and ability to make this improvement. If you are currently struggling with exercise but have a strong work ethic, access to resources like the gym, and are willing to seek help, it's an achievable goal.

  4. Relevant: The goal should be relevant to your personal aspirations. If you need a strong body for your chosen career or if the body is a core requirement, it's a relevant goal.

  5. Time-bound: To make the goal time-bound, you should set a specific deadline. For instance, "I will improve my overall physique before my next birthday"

Now, you can break down this goal into smaller, actionable steps:

  • Attend gym sessions five times a week.

  • Complete all exercises on time.

  • Have an ample amount of rest

  • Take a regular diet and track progress.

The SMART rule provides clarity and a structured approach to goal-setting and achievement, which can be applied to various academic and personal goals.
